Only person in the world to swim sub 25 seconds in the 50m backstroke
(longcourse '99).
Almost quit swimming at the age of 14, but was urged by his
father not to give up! Isn't he glad he listened!
Lenny had a internet site hosted by USC. I got the chance to
visit it before it got taken down. It was just a very basic site,
with not much emphasis placed on presentation. I guess he had
more important things to think about, hey!? like swimming.. =]
Lenny's parents had a choice of moving to Australia or USA.
They chose America. how =[ from an Aussie point of view..
Oleg, Lenny's father, is a chef and often cooks Lenny's meals.
Lenny's mother, Yelena, is a pharmacist.
Considered to be one of the nicest guys in swimming by fellow
swimmers.
Likes to listen to Italian and Classical music.
