articles Stories to watch at U.S. olympic swim trials: LONG
TIME NO SPEED By Times Staff Writer His stroke has changed. His shoulder has a surgery scar. He has not dominated an international event since the last Olympics. And his teammate is now the world-record holder in one of his events. Still, Lenny Krayzelburg figures to be one of the biggest names at the trials. A three-time gold medalist in Sydney, Krayzelburg skipped the World Championships in 2001 and missed it in 2003 with a shoulder injury. Now 28, the Russian immigrant is the No. 2 seed in the 100 back and No. 3 in the 200 back. Krayzelburg still is the world record holder in the 100, but training partner Aaron Peirsol holds the 200 record. Peirsol finished second to Krayzelburg in Sydney. - Compiled by John Romano Article orginally located at St. Petersburg Times
